The Profile
In this role you will:
- Research prospects, retail companies, identify influencers and decision makers
- Identify qualified sales opportunities through a combination of outbound activities – phone calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach
- Understand key buyer personas and diligently manage outbound activities for all personas within each sales opportunity
- Follow a clear, defined qualification process for sales opportunities
- Schedule meetings with qualified prospects for the sales team
- Ensure all outreach activities are accurately entered and managed within our CRM system
- Become an expert in the XCCommerce solutions and our competitive differentiators
- Follow up on leads generated from all marketing events and campaigns
The Other Stuff
Job requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a customer facing sales role
- Retail software experience is preferred
- Excellent listening, verbal, written and research skills
- Experience prospecting for net-new logos,
- Ability to understand and successfully promote solution offerings
- Organized, with strong prioritization skills for follow-ups
- Quick learner, highly inquisitive, ambitious, and self-starter
- Experience working within enterprise CRM solutions, Salesforce is preferred
- Open to coaching and guidance in order to improve overall effectiveness
- Effectively builds relationship with sales leadership, aligned sales account executives and marketing counterparts
