XCCommerce, a leading provider of automated solutions enabling retailers to manage, execute, and analyze advanced promotions across all channels, announced today that Danny Rosenoff has been appointed as CEO. An experienced leader in the retail industry, Danny will oversee the company’s global operations, which currently spans North America and Europe, focusing on driving success in the next stage of growth of the business.
Danny has 25 years of extensive experience on the sales, services, partnerships, and marketing sides of the retail software business. During this time, he has achieved great success in developing and leading strategic global partnerships and direct sales organizations. Throughout his career, Danny has been recognized for driving positive change and innovation as well as a passion for solving the ever-changing challenges faced by retailers today. Most recently, Danny held key senior leadership roles within Aptos, a recognized market leader in retail technology solutions, playing a vital role in their spin-off from Epicor. He was also responsible for growing Aptos’ revenue leading to the company’s recent acquisition by Goldman Sachs.
“Danny has been immersed in the retail software industry for his entire career, and we are confident that Danny’s extensive sales, partnerships, product, and service expertise will serve XCCommerce very well,” said Howard Stotland, President at Otimo Retail, which acquired XCCommerce in 2019. “Danny’s international experience will also help drive XCCommerce’s recent expansion into Europe. We are thrilled to be reunited with Danny once again and have him lead XCCommerce’s next phase of growth.”
Today, most retailers manage promotions through disparate systems, including mobile, point-of-sale, and ecommerce. The result – inconsistent pricing and promotion for consumers, leading to lost sales and brand loyalty. As consumer buying patterns continue to shift as a result of the pandemic and an increasingly digital world, retailers are reevaluating their marketing strategies to bring customers back and drive sales. Promotions must be more than simply generic price reductions, which is a race to the bottom. XCCommerce’s product suite, which allows retailers to execute multi-faceted and dynamic promotions across channels, is now more important than ever in today’s shopping environment.
